For my actual self portrait picture, I’ve decided to use a solo picture that was taken on the day of my cotillion, which is a traditional way of celebrating a woman’s 18th birthday in the Filipino culture. This picture reminds me of all my family and friends that were involved in such a special event in my life.
 The small pictures around me are things I like to do: travel, listen to music, dance, go to baseball games, snowboarding, and anything fun. The people are a big part of my life because they know me best.

Ethos/Logos ad: The improved conditions of the house and car on the right side of the picture is used to be compared to the whiskey, the product of this ad. The quote, “The longer you wait…the better it gets” is used to apply the logos appeal to show that over time, the value of the whiskey will be greater.

The ethos appeal establishes credibility of the product by showing all the details on the label of the bottle. Also, the ad includes a website at the bottom for consumers that want to know more information.
